The internet has made shopping easy for everyone. I’m one of those people who believes that you can find almost anything you want to buy online. But I also believe you need to research to get the best deal on the right products.
If you know what and where to look, you will get the best value for the money that you spend shopping online.
Recently, I wanted to know where I can buy good quality, eco-friendly, and baby-safe products at the best price. Therefore, I embarked on extensive research with the aim of finding the best online stores to shop for these products.
I had to visit different websites or stores to learn about their products and services. I also read reviews that other online shoppers have written about these stores.
Here are some of the stores I found with good quality, eco-friendly, and baby-safe products selling at the best prices.
1. Etsy
If you want to cut on carbon footprint in terms of your consumption, go to the actual source. Purchase products that are handmade by real locals. This enables you to avoid the energy consumption that comes with mass production of goods.
That’s what Etsy is all about. It is a direct line to great artisans from different parts of the world. You will be surprised to find some artisans right in your neighborhood. The store provides links to artisans that make everything that you need for your family. Whether you need fashion products, baby toys, needlepoint patterns, furniture, or anything else, you will find an artisan that makes it at Etsy.com. The store also allows you to search for artisans that use organic materials or reclaimed materials to make products. You can also search for vintage shops if you want to make less impact.

Perhaps, you are surprised as I was on learning that Amazon has a Green Store. Personally, I’m an environmentalist. As such, I always focus on knowing the kind of products that I can find in any store that I visit. Amazon does not promote its Green Store. This makes finding it a challenge for most online shoppers.
Basically, Amazon Green Store is the place where you find eco-friendly products only. You can narrow down your search at this store to a specific location if you want to find something specific. If you don’t find it, check them all and you might find something selling at a better price than you anticipated.

I learned about Green America when it was called Co-op America. That’s way back in the late 90s. At this time, Green America had existed as Co-op America for several years. It also promoted its products through mail order catalog.
However, this catalog has been growing over the years. Today, it has more than 3,000 businesses. It has culled from the analyses of over 80,000 companies. The stores sell and/or make a complete slew of organic, environmentally safe products. The products are labeled “Made-in-USA”.
